Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance coverage. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they earn a reasonable income. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or some other type of health insurance to cover treatment, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is approved inside their state.
