Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The one catch is, the person will have to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual has to be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
