Medicare is a sort of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, and also individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual must receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
