Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the government for older folks, in addition to those that have certain disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual must receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they may also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized because of their issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
