Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not an individual qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify just because they make a reasonable income. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have the money or another type of health care insurance to pay for treatment, they could determine if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in an alcohol and drug rehab facility that is approved within their state.
