Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, as well as those that have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the person must receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they can also get to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual must be hospitalized for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
