Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real catch is, the individual will have to receive treatment from your drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehab, they can also get to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be hospitalized because of their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
