Medicaid is a kind of medical health insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether somebody is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make a fair income. If a person is involved with drug use and wants help, they are able to use their Medicaid health coverage to obtain this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or some other type of medical insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehabilitation program that's approved inside their state.
