Medicare is a form of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older folks, as well as people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the individual must receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehab, they will also have to visit their physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be hospitalized for issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
