Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver rehab to address both mental health and addiction concerns concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation which helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are able to better deal with life circumstances more effectively once they depart dual diagnosis rehab rather than returning to drugs and alcohol as a possible option.
