Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older persons, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehab, they can also get to visit their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual must be in a hospital for problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
