TRICARE is health care insurance that is offered to people in the military of the United States. Substance abuse inside the military is a lot more common than one would imagine, and the need to provide treatment to these individuals is an important priority. TRICARE covers many different rehab services to cope with drug and alcohol dependence including detoxification services, along with rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs. If an inpatient program will be the favored rehabilitation option, TRICARE covers twenty-one days or one inpatient stay in such a center per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits regarding just how long a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling which is often very beneficial, as it can certainly help include family members in the healing and recovery process. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehab counselors standing by to assist you today.
