Medicare is a kind of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
