Medicare is a type of health care insurance developed by the government for seniors, as well as people with certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they may also have to see their doctor who must state that rehab services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
